Flying Pig weekend has officially arrived in Cincinnati. An estimated 30,000 participants are expected to take place in the 14 in-person events, they and the general public are invited to kick off the celebrations at the Procter & Gamble Health and Fitness Expo.The expo runs until 7 p.m. on Friday and 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. on Saturday at the Duke Energy Convention Center.People may pick up their race packets, sign up for open races, shop for exercise gear and nutrition and pick up free swag at different vendor booths.”When people start arriving, not only, of course, the noise level goes up, but there’s a feeling of excitement,” Pig Works President and CEO Iris Simpson Bush said. “And they’re all talking about the race and how they prepared and you know their nerves and it just it’s it’s great to witness it.”Online registration for races is now closed.
