Rosemont Health & Fitness Center celebrated its 30-year anniversary Friday evening, June 10.

“We have offered something for everyone,” says 12-year health center Director Susan Pappas. “We haven’t done an event like this in over a decade.”

Throughout its history, the Rosemont Health & Fitness has updated and enhanced its workout amenities and resources, making Rosemont among the best membership satisfaction rates in the area.

Friday’s celebration took place on the basketball courts, featuring a music DJ, raffle for prizes, cornhole (bags), food catering and open workouts. Gym members were invited and many staff members were in attendance to help.

According to Pappas, the gym saw one of its highest ever member rates prior to the pandemic. Then the membership rate went down, but is now reaching those highs again with over 2,000 gym members.

The health and fitness center is notable for its 93,000 sq. ft. of space, over time building new facilities such as a spa, swimming pool and hot tub, cafe, basketball, pickleball, racquetball and tennis courts, yoga room and a slew of workout machines and free weights.

“This event and gym is about family,” says Pappas. “We feel we are a family between staff and members.”

Rosemont Health & Fitness is located 10225 W. Higgins Rd. between Willow-Higgins Creek and Mannheim Road.
